Damien’s creative journey began in childhood, a lifelong passion that led him to study illustration and design. This foundation was built upon through a career that embraced a wide spectrum of creative fields, from running a successful photography business to becoming a full-stack web developer and working in marketing. Each discipline has enriched his artistic perspective, and his work is a culmination of these varied experiences, reflecting a deep understanding of composition, color, and the art of communication.
The Process
Working primarily with oil and acrylic, Spencer builds up layers on canvas, creating a rich, textural surface that invites viewers to look closer. His sculptures often incorporate found objects and mixed media, turning discarded items into powerful statements about rebirth and transformation.
