All items from Damien Spencer Studios are hand-crafted and packaged with care, requiring a standard 1–3 business days for handling before shipment; however, custom-made and personalized orders require an extended processing time of 7–14 business days for creation, which will be communicated upon order confirmation. Shipments are fulfilled via the United States Postal Service (USPS), offering USPS Ground Advantage (2–5 days) for economical delivery or USPS Priority Mail (1–3 days) for expedited service. Shipping costs are calculated via a Table Rate system based on total weight, mail class, and destination, and are assessed per vendor if the customer purchases items from multiple shops. All shipping fees are considered taxable in compliance with state regulations where the unique, handmade product itself is taxable.
Refund Policy
Damien Spencer Studios accepts returns initiated within 30 calendar days of the purchase date, provided the handmade goods are returned unused, unwashed, and in the original packaging, with the exception of custom commissioned pieces, personalized items, or final sale/clearance goods. To return an item, the customer must first contact Damien Spencer Studios directly via the Jemez Village site to receive approval and the return shipping address, acknowledging that the customer is responsible for all non-refundable return shipping costs. Once the returned artwork is inspected and approved by the studio, a refund will be processed to the original method of payment within 7–10 business days.
Damien Spencer Studios Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Policy
All returns must be pre-authorized. No unauthorized returns will be accepted or refunded.
- Initiation: The customer must first contact Damien Spencer Studios directly via the Jemez Village platform within the 30-day return window, providing the Order Number and a detailed reason for the return (e.g., Wrong Item, Damaged Item, Manufacture Defect, etc.).
- Review and Authorization: Damien Spencer Studios will review the request for eligibility.
- Non-Returnable Items: RMA authorization will be rejected for any custom-commissioned pieces, personalized goods, or items showing signs of use or damage not reported upon initial receipt.
- Authorization: If the item is eligible, the studio will issue a written RMA number and provide the precise return shipping address.
- Shipping: The customer is responsible for safely packaging the item and paying all return shipping costs. The RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the return package. We recommend using a trackable, insured shipping service.
- Inspection and Refund: Upon receipt, the returned item will be inspected. If the condition meets the studio’s quality standards, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
