Technical Update: Simplifying the Jemez Village Calendar

To our Jemez community and visitors,

If you’ve visited JemezVillage.com recently to look for local events, you may have noticed that our calendar is currently offline. Unfortunately, a major software failure within our event management system caused significant issues with the website’s stability.

Because my goal is to keep this site fast, clean, and reliable for everyone in the canyon, I have decided to remove that system entirely.

What this means for the site:

Temporary “Quiet” Period: While I work on a more stable way to display local happenings, the automated calendar will remain down.
A Better System is Coming: I’m currently building a lightweight, “unbreakable” replacement that won’t compromise the site’s performance and I will be pushing out a stable version soon as a replacement.

JemezVillage.com is a passion project managed by a one-person team, and I truly appreciate your patience while I clear these “digital fallen trees” from the path.
