Los Ojos Restaurant & Saloon, located in Jemez Springs, New Mexico, has a rich history dating back to the late 1800s. Originally built as a mercantile store by Moses Abousleman, the building has served various purposes over the years, including a warehouse, pool hall, dining hall, and gambling hall. In 1947, it was transformed into Los Ojos Bar & Grill.
Los Ojos has become a beloved local institution, known for its cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly staff. It holds the second oldest continuously owned liquor license in New Mexico and has been featured in numerous state and national publications. The establishment is a must-visit stop along the National Scenic Byway, the Jemez Mountain Trail.
